Zoe massage seat failure
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Renault Zoe owner reported a massage seat fault, suspecting a faulty cable or plug. Another owner suggested inspecting the wiring harness beneath the seat, particularly the connector for the massage seat control module, and recommended checking the voltage on the switch. The control module is located beneath the seat cushion, and accessing it requires detaching and tilting the seat. Ultimately, a Renault workshop confirmed the issue as a defective cable, with a repair cost of approximately 95€.

Voltage measurement on the switch is a great hint. Where is the massage seat control module located? How difficult is it to get to the wiring harness without completely dismantling the seat?

The control module is beneath the seat cushion, near the seat motor. Accessing the harness means detaching the seat and tilting it. Be careful, the seat may have airbag components, so disconnect the battery first. It's likely a broken wire and repairable, but I'd recommend a Renault workshop.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like a job for the pros. The Renault workshop confirmed it's a defective cable, repair cost around 95€. Cheers again for pointing me in the right direction!

I have a Zoe and recall something similar. The issue was the wiring harness beneath the seat, specifically the connector for the massage seat control module. Inspect the connector for proper seating, bent or corroded pins. Did you try measuring the voltage on the switch?
