Zoe temperature sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Renault Zoe exhibited a temperature sensor fault, causing issues with the air conditioning, heated mirrors, and windscreen spray nozzles. The problem was suspected to be a faulty sensor or a wiring issue. After checking fuses and considering the sensor's location, it was advised to have a professional diagnosis. The issue was resolved by fixing a faulty connector at a local garage, restoring normal function.

Checked the obvious stuff like fuses, but haven't dug around the actual sensor yet. Where exactly is it located on the Zoe? Is it easy enough to get to without stripping half the car?

Okay, if fuses are good, it definitely points to the sensor or its wiring. Without looking at the car directly, it's hard to say for sure, but on most cars, it's usually behind the front bumper, near the fog lights, or sometimes in the mirror housing. It might be accessible without removing the bumper completely, but honestly, with those symptoms, I'd say taking it to a shop to get it diagnosed properly would save you time and potential headaches. Could save you money in the long run too, if it stops you from damaging something while troubleshooting.

Thanks for the advice! Bit the bullet and took it to the local garage. Turns out it was indeed a dodgy connector on the sensor. 95€ later and all is well again. Cheers!

Hmm, sounds suspicious. I'd say it's unlikely that all those things failed at once. Maybe the sensor is giving a crazy reading, and it's affecting all those other systems? Is the error constantly present or intermittent? Have you checked the sensor's wiring and plug? Could be a loose or corroded connection there.
