Zoe weak starting battery

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2014 Renault Zoe (electric engine). At 97719 km, the car seems to have a weak battery when starting. The lights are also weak and flicker sometimes. I've checked the battery connections, and they seem fine. Could this be a sign of a more serious problem?

I had similar symptoms with my Zoe. It could be a bad battery sensor. Have you run any vehicle diagnostics to check the voltage? Low voltage can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins.

Thank you for the reply! No, I haven't performed any vehicle diagnostics yet. Where exactly is the battery sensor located, and is it easy to check its functionality without special equipment?

I wouldn't advise tinkering with it without proper equipment. The sensor itself is usually integrated within the battery management system. Given the symptoms and potential complexity, I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop to avoid further issues.

I appreciate the advice. I will take your suggestion and schedule an appointment with a local workshop to have the battery sensor checked. The repair cost 315€. Thank you again for your assistance!
