Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) are used to reduce exhaust emissions by filtering soot particles and burning them at regular intervals. To start a regeneration, certain criteria must be fulfilled (e.g. speed of more than 80 km/h).

How it works:

Use Carly to read out important data about your diesel particulate filter (soot mass, ash mass, average engine revs) and request a regeneration. As a short-distance driver, this is recommended, before you go on a highway trip. You can then carry out the regeneration well-planned. You can follow the regeneration process live on the when watching the parameters.
