Hey! Nice to hear that your Sandero's issue was sorted with relative ease. You know, the flashy speedometer light coupled with the bouncy-bouncy definitely has me thinking along the same lines about my Spring. Just out of interest, can you recall roughly how much you had to cough up for that ECU and suspension cleanup? And have you had any similar issues cropping up since then or was it a one-off thing? Thanks again for your insights, really appreciate it!

Hey there! Absolutely, happy to share more details. After the mechanic worked his magic on the damper adjustment of the chassis, my beloved Dacia Sandero has been running as smooth as ever, no repeats of that rabbit-like hopping. As for the wallet damage, the cleanup and fix for the pesky "Cable Connection Defective" error set me back by around 155€. Trust me, considering how much smoother the ride is now, it was a total bargain! So, if your issue turns out to be along the same lines, reckon you're in for a similar range. Remember it's your ride's health on the line here. Don't hesitate to get it checked and sorted. Cheers!

Hey! Thanks for throwing in that additional info. It's a relief to hear that your Sandero has been trouble-free since the fix and fingers crossed my Spring follows suit. The cost doesn't sound too harsh, more than happy to part ways with 155€, if that ensures my ride gets back in top form. I still have my fingers crossed it's something as straightforward as what you faced. Thanks for your insight and advice, I truly appreciate it. I'm going to be booking an appointment with the mechanic first thing tomorrow. Take care and happy smooth driving! Cheers!

Hey there, You're right on the money with your instinct, as it does sound a lot like a problem with the chassis, though there might be more to it given the flashing speedometer light. I drive a 2019 Dacia Sandero and had something similar going on last year. It was driving me up the wall, bouncing all over like a jackrabbit every time I hit a bump. In my case, the issue was even more amusing: a "Cable Connection Defective" problem communicated by the dashboard lights. Took it to the garage, and the mechanic explained that the issue was with the cable connections related to the car's ECU and suspension system. He needed to work on the connectors, clean them up, and ensure there was no corrosion. I'm not going to say it was a life-threatening issue, but had it been left unattended, it could have led to some more serious situations down the line, like a real erratic ride or even possible damage to the suspension system. Just to assure you, the repair was pretty straightforward, and it solved the problem. So if yours turns out to be something similar, shouldn't be too much to worry about. But always best to get it checked out by a professional. After all, better safe than sorry. Hope that helps, cheers!
