2022 Kia Seltos Gasoline Engine Connectivity Issue: Troubleshooting Smartphone and GPS Sync Problems

Hey everyone, my 2022 Kia Seltos with a Gasoline engine's been giving me a bit of a headache. I'm having a hard time connecting my Smartphone and the GPS isn't linking up either. I'm suspecting it's some kind of connectivity issue, just not sure how to tackle it. Anyone faced something similar or has any troubleshooting insights? Really curious to know how you got this sorted out at the workshop, what was the cause and how was your overall experience? Thanks a bunch!

Hey there, Gotcha, had a similar issue with my 2020 Kia Sportage sometime back. Though I only have some car experience, this one was pretty tricky. Eventually took it to my local workshop. The mechanics there, bless them, figured out the problem was an 'Incorrect pairing with the end device'. They sorted it out and it cost me about 45 Euro, didn't hurt the wallet much. They might be able to give you a more tailored solution if you provide a bit more info about your Seltos. Engine type? Trim level? Any modifications? That sorta thing. Hope that helps!

Hey! Seriously, thanks for sharing your experience with the 2020 Sportage, it actually gives me some peace of mind! On the info part, my Seltos is stock, no mods at all and it's Gasoline engine. I've been good with all the regular services, latest was just when I hit 23781 KM. Guess I should follow your advice and swing by a workshop, hope they don't surprise me with a fat bill haha. It's interesting though, as our models aren't that far apart, so the solutions might be similar. About your concern with the bill, hey, fingers crossed, right? If it was an 'Incorrect pairing with the end device' issue like mine, it shouldn't be too bad. My experience with the local workshop was pretty much straight-forward and economical.
