2022 Seat Tarraco Hybrid Electrical Issues and Fault Stored Message: Seeking Advice

Hey folks, got a bit of a situation with my 2022 Seat Tarraco Hybrid (it's run about 107k km). Noticed the park distance control has gone kaput, general electric going haywire, and the dash warning light's throwing a party. To top it off, I've got this "Fault Stored" message. I'm thinking this might be my radar sensor acting up. Any of you come across anything similar? How did your mechanic handle it? Could use some peace of mind after a not-so-great workshop experience last time 'round. Cheers!

Hey there, funnily enough, I had a comparable issue in my 2019 Seat Leon ST not so long ago. The radar sensor kept causing these similar niggly issues. Just like you, my dash was higher functioning than a Christmas tree and my park assist turned dud. It took a bit to figure out the problem, mostly because the PDC is linked into so many things. Turned out to be a dirty sensor. Cleaned it up, seemed to resolve the majority of the issues. It wasn't a huge deal in the overall scheme of things, but definitely a bit of a headache for a bit. So yeah, I'd say get that radar checked and cleaned - I reckon you'll find it sorts a lot of your electrical issues. But, hey, can't hurt to get a thorough diagnostic just in case something else is on the blink. Good luck with it!

Hey! That's reassuring, cheers for that. Sounds like yours was pretty similar to what I'm going through. Which makes me think it's gonna be the radar sensor for me too. Pepped up with hope now, to be honest. By the way, can you remember roughly how much you had to shell out for that clean-up and check? Also, whilst I have your attention, did anything else rear its ugly head since? Fingers crossed you're all smooth sailing!

Hey again! I'm glad I could give you a bit of a breather. As for the clean-up, it was a steal at just 45€ - not too shabby, right? And as for any other gremlins since then, well, sit tight, 'cause here's the catch: the radar sensor problem didn't bother me again after the mechanic worked his magic! The dashboard's been behaving and the parking assist back to its old self. So, fingers crossed your Seat Tarraco picks up the hint and sorts itself out too!

You absolute legend! Only 45€ and peace of mind afterwards seems like a deal I can get behind. Here's hoping my scenario works itself out just like yours did. That dashboard behaving and parking assist back in play is exactly the kind of smooth sailing I'm after. Appreciate the info, I'm feeling heaps better about the situation now. I'm off to the mechanic to get this sorted. Cross your fingers for me! Cheers again!
