Hey! Absolutely, similar situations for sure. As for the cost, it wasn't too bad considering the importance of the fix. I shelled out 155€ to sort out the Steering column switch cable connection. That's about the ballpark you can expect. And, since I've gotten that sorted out, the Windshield wiper switch has been behaving much better, no more unusual act ups. The repair really did the trick, it's been business as usual since then. So if those symptoms kick back in, it's probably another gremlin under the hood!
