370Z Rough Idle and Stalling

Hey, I'm having issues with my 2012 Nissan 370Z with the gasoline engine and about 117k kilometers. The engine's running rough and stalls sometimes when idling. The check engine light is on, and the car jerks when I accelerate. Thinking it might be a bad coil pack, maybe a cable or plug connection? Anyone else experienced this?

Hey, I have a 370Z too. I had similar problems a while back – rough running, stalling at lights, the whole deal. I didn't get the jerking, but I'd bet it's related. Did you check the codes? Which cylinder is misfiring?

Thanks for the quick response! I haven't checked the codes myself yet. I was planning on taking it to a mechanic, but I wanted to get some ideas first. When yours was doing that, was it definitely the coil pack, and how did you figure it out?

Yeah, in my case, it turned out to be a faulty ignition coil. I had a mechanic diagnose it. I'm no expert but based on your description and that you also have the check engine light it sounds very similar. Best to get it checked out by a professional.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop, and it was indeed a defective ignition coil – the mechanic said the cable connection was bad. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted, but now it runs like new! Really appreciate your help!
