4Runner Sun Blind Defective

Hello, I have a problem with my 2013 Toyota 4Runner with a gasoline engine. The sun blind is defective. It no longer retracts and extends, and it seems stuck. I checked the error memory and there is an error stored.

Hey there! I drive a 4Runner too, and something similar happened to me with my car sunshade. What a pain! Is it making any noise when you try to operate it, or is it totally dead? Mine was making a weird clicking sound before it gave up completely. Did you check the fuse?

Alright, so mine was exactly the same, no noise at all. I checked the fuse first, but it was fine. Eventually, it turned out that the motor of the sunblind was defective. I ended up having to take it to a workshop. They replaced the whole thing.
