5008 Blower Motor Failure

Experiencing an issue with my 2020 Peugeot 5008 diesel. The fresh air blower has completely stopped working! The climate control panel lights up, but there's absolutely no air flow. An error is stored. Has anyone else encountered this? My mechanic suspects a defective blower motor.

I had a similar HVAC system problem on my 5008. The heater fan wouldn't kick in. Did you check the blower motor resistor? Sometimes that's the culprit before the motor itself goes belly up. Is it completely dead on all speed settings, or does it work intermittently?

If it's dead on all speeds, that does point more directly at the blower motor itself. The resistor usually causes issues with only some speeds. While you could try to locate and test the resistor, given the symptoms and your mileage, my experience suggests the blower motor is indeed the likely suspect. I recommend a visit to a workshop.
