Hey, thanks for your helpful answer! That really sounds like the same problem I'm having. Can you remember how much it cost you to have it fixed at the garage? Have there been any problems since then or has everything been fine since then? Thanks for your reply!

Hey, I'm glad I could help you. Well, I can reassure you about the speed signal. After I went to the mechanic, the problem was solved. Since then, there have been no more problems with it. As for the cost, I had to pay €95 for the repair of the wiring harness/plug. You didn't have to wait long for the repair either. So all in all it went pretty well. Hope your problem can be solved as easily and cheaply. Good luck!

Hey, that's reassuring to hear! 95 doesn't sound too bad if it means that nothing flashes or beeps anymore. I'll probably pay the mechanics a visit and hope they find the fault quickly. Thanks again for your tips and experience, it really helped me. I hope I have the same luck! See you next time!

Hello, I had a similar issue with my 2018 Skoda. It turned out to be a faulty ABS sensor. I would suggest getting the ABS sensor and speed signal checked by a reliable mechanic. All the best!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2014 Skoda Octavia a while ago. It turned out that the ABS speed sensor had given up the ghost. After replacing the sensor, the problem was solved. No more ABS warning and the ABS/DSC system was running smoothly again. A problem with the speed signal can certainly be caused by such a defective sensor. But I would advise you to go to a mechanic. There can be various causes and remote diagnosis is always difficult. On my last visit to the garage, the mechanic read out the fault codes and was then able to identify exactly what the problem was. It wasn't fun, but at least I was able to estimate what the problem could be the next time. Hope that helps you!
