There is a distinct engine noise, particularly at lower speeds. Could you elaborate on what you mean by 'tensioner pulley issue'? Was the resolution straightforward?

By tensioner pulley, I meant that the pulley itself on the tensioner might be worn or damaged, causing the belt to slip or not maintain proper tension. In my case, the entire tensioner needed replacing. I would recommend seeking professional assistance since improper belt tension can damage other components.

I consulted a workshop, which confirmed a defective belt tensioner. The repair, including parts and labor, amounted to 455€.

I had a similar problem with my old Opel Corsa. The belt tensioner went bad, causing a weird noise. Is yours making any strange noises as well? It could be a tensioner pulley issue.
