Accent emergency call system malfunction

Hi, I've got a 2016 Hyundai Accent with a gasoline engine. Recently, the emergency call system seems to be malfunctioning. I get an error stored in the error memory, plus an error message and warning light in the speedometer. From what I've read, it could be a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone else experienced this?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I have an Accent too, and I had something similar happen last year with the SOS signal. Super annoying! Was the warning light always on?

Yeah, the warning light is constantly on. Did yours do that too? And did you ever figure out what exactly was causing it?

Yep, same here. Light was always on. Honestly, I tried looking myself, but car electronics aren't my thing. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it. I'll probably take it to the workshop then. They quoted me around 95€ for the repair, so hopefully that fixes it.
