Accord ABS and Traction Control Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Honda Accord is experiencing ABS and traction control problems, with the ABS lamp lighting up and traction issues occurring. The suspected cause is related to the speed signal, possibly involving the ECM or odometer. A similar issue was resolved by addressing a defective ABS control unit, suggesting that checking and potentially replacing this component could be a solution.

Yeah, the speedometer sometimes jumps around a bit. What did you end up doing to fix it? Was it the control unit like I suspect?

Yep, speedometer issues too. Pretty sure it was the ABS control unit. I'd say get it checked out at a workshop; probably a defective control unit. Cost me a pretty penny.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll get it checked out. Sounds like I'm in for about 1000€ of repairs, but at least I know what to expect.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Accord. The ABS, traction control, the whole shebang went haywire. Did your speedometer go nuts too?
