Accord Manifold Pressure Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid is experiencing issues with the check engine light, reduced engine power, and increased fuel consumption. The problem is suspected to be a faulty manifold pressure sensor, potentially caused by a large vacuum leak. A suggestion is made to listen for hissing sounds near the intake manifold to confirm a vacuum leak. Replacing the sensor resolved a similar issue for another Accord owner, but it is advised to have the vehicle checked by a professional to rule out any underlying problems.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check for hissing sounds. When you had this problem, did the sensor replacement fix it completely, or were there other underlying issues causing the sensor to fail?

For me, the sensor replacement solved the problem. But a faulty sensor can be a symptom of a bigger problem like a leak. I would take it to a shop to be sure. I ended up paying around 235€ for the repair. Good luck!

Awesome, thanks for the info! I appreciate the help. I'll get it checked out at a reputable shop and hopefully, it's just the sensor. Will post the resolution here!

I had a similar issue with my Accord. Same symptoms – check engine light, sluggish performance. Have you checked for any hissing sounds near the intake manifold? That could indicate a vacuum leak.
