Active hood fault and airbag warning

The diagnostic report indeed indicates an error specifically associated with the acceleration sensor However, the concurrent triggering of both the Active hood fault message and the airbag warning lamp is perplexing Could you elaborate on the specific nature of the sensor issue you encountered with your Volvo Specifically, were any actuators involved, and did it impact other safety system components

Okay, so just the acceleration sensor then With my Volvo it was a faulty ABS sensor sending garbage data and screwing with everything else No actuators popping off, just a cascade of errors Honestly, with airbags involved, and stuff actually triggering, I wouldn't mess around too much Bite the bullet and take it to a workshop Could be a bigger deal than just a sensor, you know Don't want that safety system going bonkers if you actually need it

I appreciate your counsel Your insights have validated my concerns regarding the complexity of the interconnected systems I shall defer to the expertise of a qualified workshop Initial estimates place the repair cost, including sensor replacement and recalibration of the active hood system, at approximately 315€ Thank you again for your time and assistance

Whoa, active hood fault, eh Sounds messy I had something similar happen with my old Volvo a while back Airbag light flashing, computer going nuts It turned out to be a wonky sensor too, but on the brakes, not the hood Was the acceleration sensor the only error code you pulled What else is showing up
