Adam Heater Issue

Got a 2013 Vauxhall Adam, gasoline engine, with 88,726 km on the clock. The heating's barely blowing warm, and I've got an error code popping up. My research points to a water valve issue, possibly a dodgy connection. Does that sound about right? Before I start tearing things apart, has anyone else seen this, maybe with a bad cable or plug connection?

A water valve issue on an Adam? Hmmm. Low heat and an error code, you say? You sure it's not just a coolant leak? Or maybe the thermostat's stuck open? Coolant level's good, yeah?

Coolant level is spot on, checked that first thing. Thermostat seems okay, engine temp gets to normal operating temp eventually, just takes ages and the heater is useless. But a blockage in the valve itself? Is that plausible, or is it more likely to be an electrical fault with the valve?

Coolant's good, thermostat seems okay... Yeah, a blockage is possible, but honestly, with those symptoms, and if you suspect a wiring issue, it could be a pain to diagnose properly without proper tools. Is it worth your time messing about? I'd suggest taking it to a workshop.

Appreciate the advice. Took it to a local garage. Turns out it was indeed the water valve and a corroded connector, just like I suspected. 95€ all in, which isn't too bad. Happy to have warm air again!
