Adam Massage Seat Failure

I had something similar in my Adam, although it wasn't the massage seat specifically, but a different electrical issue. Modern cars, eh? Since it's showing an error code, have you looked at the wiring under the seat? Sometimes those connectors can get knocked or come loose, especially if you've been shoving things under there. Also, have you checked the fuse box? There may be a specific fuse for the seat functions.

I had a quick peek under the seat, but it's a bit of a mess of wires and the car upholstery makes it difficult to reach the seat motor connectors. I didn't see anything obviously disconnected though. Which fuse would it be, and where exactly is it located? I have the manual, but you know how those things can be...

With that error code present from the OBD reader I would skip my other advice and point to what the manual says: 'Cable or plug connection of the component defective' as the most probable cause of the error. I ended up just taking mine to a certified Vauxhall workshop. They were able to diagnose and fix the wiring issue pretty quickly, and it wasn’t bank-breaking.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop. They found a faulty wire and a loose connection which they repaired, and it only cost me 95€, which I thought was great. Cheers!
