Adam Oxygen Sensor Failure

My 2014 Vauxhall Adam with a gasoline engine (146166 km) has an oxygen sensor heater failure. Error code, check engine light, and higher fuel consumption. Wiring and plug connections look suspect. Anyone else had this?

I had something similar on my Adam, although the mileage was lower. Check engine light and higher fuel consumption sounds like the O2 sensor. Did you test the sensor itself or just check the wiring?

I only checked the wiring and plug connections because the diagnostic code pointed there. What diagnostic steps did you take?

For me, the light came on and off for a while. Eventually, it stayed on permanently. I tried cleaning the contacts, but it didn't help. Honestly, I just took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the O2 sensor and replaced it.

Thanks. I'll take it to a trusted workshop for diagnosis and sensor replacement, considering your experience and to avoid further issues. Repair is estimated at 95€.
