Adam Rear Window Heating Issue

My 2017 Vauxhall Adam (gasoline engine) with 200k+ km has an issue with the rear window heating. Error is stored and the auto defrost isn't working. I'm leaning toward battery issues, as it's been acting up. Thoughts?

Had something similar with my Adam. Check your battery's health first. Heavily discharged or defective batteries can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins. Any recent battery drain?

Battery drain is a possibility, yeah. I'll check the voltage tomorrow. Did your rear window heating pack up completely like mine?

Yep, exactly the same. Error codes and no heat at all. Turned out the low voltage was messing with the rear window defroster circuit. Best to get it checked at a workshop.

Cheers. Confirmed it's the battery. Local auto shop diagnosed it and quoted 290€ for replacement and fitting. Booked it in. Thanks!
