Allion Hybrid Fuel Pump Connector Issue

I'm having issues with my 2023 Toyota Allion hybrid. The engine sometimes won't start, stalls at idle, the check engine light is on, it runs rough, and fuel consumption is up. Mileage is 86005 km. Error memory shows a defective fuel pump, but I think it might be a bad cable or plug.

My 2018 Camry had similar symptoms before the fuel pump failed completely. Did you check the fuel pump relay? A bad relay can act like a failing pump.

On my Camry, the relay was in the engine compartment's fuse box. I tested it by swapping it with the horn relay to see if the starting problem went away. If you're not sure, get a qualified technician; fuel system work can be dangerous.
