Almera Central Locking Failure

My 2020 Nissan Almera with a gasoline engine has central locking failure. The remote doesn't work, the alarm is useless, and the OBD scanner shows an error. Fuses are fine. Has anyone else had this?

I had a similar problem with my 2016 Opel Astra. The central locking went haywire, and it turned out to be a defective plug connection in the door. Have you had any work done recently that might have disturbed the wiring?

A defective plug connection? I haven't had any recent work done, which makes it even more perplexing. Where was this plug connection located in your Astra? Was it difficult to access?

On my Astra, it was inside the door panel, near the locking mechanism itself. Unless you're comfortable taking the door apart and fiddling with electrical connectors, I'd recommend a workshop. They should be able to diagnose the exact issue quickly.

I took it to the workshop, and it was indeed a defective cable or plug connection! The repair cost me 95€. Thanks for the advice!
