When you say 'poor cable connections of the battery', can you be more specific? Which connections were problematic, and how did you fix it? I want to try everything before going to a workshop.

The negative terminal had corrosion and was loose, causing inconsistent electrical conductivity. Cleaning and tightening didn't fix it long-term. I had to get professional help. I'd recommend seeing a qualified technician.

Thanks for the advice. I consulted a mechanic and the cable connections of the battery were the problem. The repair cost 155€. Your insights helped a lot.

I had a similar problem with my Almera. Sounds like a faulty Engine Control Unit (ECU). My issue was poor cable connections of the battery, which disrupted the ECU's operation. What diagnostic steps have you tried?
