Thanks. I haven't checked the air filter, but I will. Is there a way to check the oxygen sensor without special equipment? Fuel economy has dropped to about 12 liters per 100 kilometers, used to be around 8. Does that suggest a fuel injection issue?

Okay, 12 liters per 100km when you used to get 8? That's a huge difference. It really does sound like you're running rich. As for checking the O2 sensor without tools, it's tough. You'd need a multimeter at least, and even then, you're just guessing. Honestly, with all those symptoms and the bad fuel economy, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. They can hook it up to a diagnostic computer and pinpoint the exact problem. Could be a faulty injector, a bad sensor, or something else entirely.

I consulted a mechanic. It was a defective fuel injector. Replaced it for 515€, and the vehicle is now performing well. Thanks!

Sounds like a real problem. Running rich can cause those symptoms. Have you checked the basics, like your air filter? A clogged filter can mess with the air-fuel ratio. Also, when was the last time you had your oxygen sensor checked? A faulty one can throw off the fuel mixture. What kind of fuel economy are you seeing now compared to before?
