Altima Airbag Warning Light
Summary of the thread
The airbag warning light in a 2017 Nissan Altima was continuously illuminated, suggesting a potential issue with the airbag system. The initial suspicion was a defective cable or plug connection. After checking the connections under the seats, which appeared fine, the problem persisted. Ultimately, a workshop diagnosed and repaired a defective plug connection within the airbag system, resolving the issue.

Yes, I have checked the connections under the seats. They appear to be properly connected. Were your symptoms exactly the same, and did checking the connections solve the issue?

My symptoms were the same, but checking the connections didn't solve it. Ended up needing to get it looked at by a workshop.

Thanks for the information. I took it to a workshop, and as suspected, it was a defective plug connection within the airbag system. The repair cost 95€. Your experience helped me narrow down the possibilities.

I had a similar issue with my Altima. Have you checked the airbag sensor connections under the seats? Those are often the culprit.
