No overheating yet, but yeah, I'm constantly adding coolant! Where should I be looking for these 'small leaks'? Like, am I checking radiator hoses or what?

Alright, since you're constantly refilling, it's likely a leak. Check your radiator hoses first - those are the easiest to visually inspect. Also, check around the water pump for any signs of dried coolant. Honestly, though, for something like this, especially with the engine light on, I'd strongly recommend taking it to a workshop. These things can be tricky, and you don't want to damage anything worse.

Thanks. Workshop it is! Turns out it was a leaky hose, costing me 52€. I appreciate the help!

I also drive an Altima, although a slightly newer model. I had a similar coolant problem a while back. Does it overheat, or do you just keep having to refill the coolant reservoir? If you keep having to top it off, you might have a small leak somewhere.
