Altima Heating Insufficient Output

I'm having trouble with the heating in my 2023 Nissan Altima with a gasoline engine. At 153303 km, the heat output is low, and there's an error code. Diagnostics point to a bad water valve, maybe a faulty cable or plug. Anyone else seen this?

I have an Altima and had similar heating issues. The error code pointed to the water valve. Before replacing it, did you check the coolant level and for any blockages in the heater core? A simple air bubble in the system can cause the heating to be too low.

Thanks! Coolant level is fine. How do I check for blockages in the heater core? What should I look for?

Checking for blockages can be tricky without the right tools. If the coolant is good and you still get the water valve error, a workshop should take a look. They can diagnose the valve or wiring. It could save time and money.

I took it to a technician, and the water valve was defective due to a loose connection. The repair was 95€, and the heating works now. Thanks for the help!
