Altima turn signal speedometer error
Summary of the thread
A 2002 Nissan Altima is experiencing issues with a malfunctioning turn signal and a speedometer error, despite the bulb appearing fine. The problem may be due to corroded or damaged connectors and wiring near the lamp housing, causing a poor connection. A suggested solution is to systematically check each connector in the circuit or consult a professional to diagnose and fix the faulty connector, as this approach has resolved similar issues for others.

Yeah, I gave the bulb a once over, but didn't dive deep into the wiring harness. Is there a specific spot I should be looking at, or is it more of a general 'wiggle everything and see what happens' kind of deal?

I wish I could give you a pinpoint location, but it’s tough without seeing it. It's more like systematically checking each connector in the circuit. If you're not comfortable with electrical stuff, honestly, a workshop might be the best bet. I ended up taking mine in, and they found a faulty connector. Saved me a lot of headache digging around.

Alright, appreciate the insight. Sounds like I'll bite the bullet and get it checked out by a pro. 95€ sounds like a fair trade for not frying my brain over wiring. Thanks!

Sounds familiar. I drive an Altima as well, and I had a similar issue a while back with my signal lamp. The error message in the speedometer is a key symptom. Did you happen to check the connector and wiring near the lamp housing? Sometimes those can get corroded or damaged, causing a bad connection. It's like a loose wire on a household lamp – the electricity can't flow properly.
