Amaze exhaust temperature sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Honda Amaze with a gasoline engine is experiencing issues such as a check engine light, reduced power, and increased fuel consumption, potentially due to an exhaust temperature sensor problem. The symptoms include temperature fluctuations, which may be caused by an exhaust system leak affecting the sensor's performance. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle inspected by a professional to confirm the issue and repair any leaks, which resolved the problem in a similar case.

Interesting. Yeah, I noticed some temperature fluctuation in the readings beforehand. Was that also related to the exhaust sensor, then?

Yep, pretty sure it was. Turned out to be a leak in the exhaust system causing the sensor to go haywire. I'd get it checked out by a pro. Sensor replacement plus fixing the leak cost around 265€, if I remember correctly.

Cheers, appreciate the insight! Ended up being exactly what you said - exhaust leak messing with the temperature sensor. Workshop confirmed, fixed, and all good now.

Hey! I had something similar with my Amaze. Check engine light, felt like it was choking, and the gas mileage tanked. Was the temperature fluctuating wildly before the light came on?
