I will check the engine coolant level. Was there a coolant leak, or any other noticeable signs besides the poor heating?

I didn't notice any obvious coolant leaks, which made it frustrating to diagnose! I just knew the heat wasn't working. Eventually, I took it to a workshop, and they sorted it. If checking the coolant doesn't reveal anything, I'd recommend getting it checked by a professional. It could save you time and stress.

I checked the coolant level, and it seems fine. I think I will take it to a workshop. It seems it is a defective water valve, as suspected, due to a faulty cable or plug connection. The estimated repair cost is around 95€.

I had a similar heating issue with my Amaze. The heating was pathetic, and it turned out to be something to do with the cooling system. Did you check the engine coolant level? Is it losing coolant somewhere?
