Amaze multifunction steering controls issue
Summary of the thread
The multifunction steering controls on a 2015 Honda Amaze stopped working, with an error message stored in the system. Possible causes include a defective cable connection inside the steering wheel, a control module issue, or blown fuses. After checking the fuses and finding them intact, it was determined that the issue was indeed a defective cable connection, which was resolved by a workshop.

Thanks for the quick response! A control module issue, huh? I haven't checked any fuses yet, but that's a good idea. Where exactly are the fuses for the steering controls located? And is there anything I can do to further narrow down the cause of the malfunction?

I'm not entirely sure about the exact fuse location, but your owner's manual should have that info. If the fuses are fine, then, based on my experience, I suspect a connectivity problem. It's probably best to take it to a workshop and have them diagnose the wiring and control module with proper tools. I did that and they fixed it.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I checked the fuses, and they seem fine, so I think you're right. I'll book an appointment with a workshop to get it checked out. It was indeed a defective cable connection in the steering wheel, as suspected. The repair cost me 95€. Thanks again for the help!

Interesting… I had a similar problem with my Amaze. Could it be a control module issue? Have you checked for any blown fuses related to the steering controls? Is the malfunction indicator on?
