Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Honda City. Not the same car, but same maker. It presented with the same odd electrical gremlins and the navigation going haywire. It felt like the car's brain had a hiccup, like a computer crashing. Could it be related to some recent software installation?

That is an interesting point. I am not aware of any recent software installations. Is there a way to check? What exactly was the cause in your case?

Checking for recent installations might be tricky without proper tools. In my case, the workshop determined it was a software bug requiring a recalibration of the control module. Given your car's symptoms and the diagnostic pointing to a programming issue, I'd suggest taking it to a trusted workshop for a thorough check. They might need to perform a software reset or even reprogram the control unit. It will most likely be the fastest solution, and you will be sure not to damage anything else.

Thank you for the insightful information. Following your advice, I took the car to the workshop. The problem was indeed a corrupted software in the control unit, and they performed a recalibration. The error is gone now. As predicted, the repair cost was 240€. Thank you for your help!
