Amaze transport mode issue

I'm freaking out. My 2021 Honda Amaze with a gasoline engine keeps saying it's in 'transport mode.' My navigation is dead, and I'm getting electrical malfunctions. It's only done 44160 km. Any ideas?

Summary of the thread

A 2021 Honda Amaze is experiencing issues with being stuck in 'transport mode,' leading to navigation and electrical malfunctions. This mode is typically deactivated by the dealer during pre-delivery inspection, suggesting a possible oversight. A suggested solution is to return the car to the dealership for proper configuration, as it likely falls under warranty and should be resolved without cost.

Transport mode is usually activated at the factory to preserve the battery during shipping. It's supposed to be deactivated by the dealer before delivery. Are you sure the dealer did the pre-delivery inspection properly? A deactivated transport mode is part of the car configuration process. Have you tried a hard reset by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes? It might clear glitches, but I’m not sure.

Disconnect the battery? Seriously? I'm not comfortable messing with that. Won't that mess up all the car's settings? I’ve heard of immobilizer issues after that. Could there be some other way? I don't want to brick my car!

I understand your hesitation. Tampering with the car's systems could lead to new problems. If the transport mode is truly stuck, it points to an incomplete car configuration at the dealership level. That likely means some crucial settings weren't properly set during pre-delivery. I think you should take it back to the dealer. This sounds like a warranty issue, and they have the diagnostic tools to fix it properly. The repair is free of charge.

Okay, thanks a lot for the advice! I was hoping it was something simple, but you're probably right. I'll book it in with the dealership and let them sort it out. It sounds like it's their fault anyway. At least it shouldn't cost me anything!
