AMG GT Hybrid Engine Stalling Issue

My 2020 Mercedes AMG GT Hybrid with 133024 km won't start, stalls at idle, and the check engine light is on. It runs rough and fuel consumption is high, and there's an error stored. Could a bad fuel pump be the problem, maybe a bad cable or plug connection affecting gasoline delivery, or a faulty fuel injector? I'm trying to avoid a total pump failure. Has anyone had similar engine stalling in the fuel system?

I have an AMG GT, but not the hybrid. I had similar engine stalling and a check engine light, plus rough running. Does it stall all the time, or just when it's cold? It could be a fuel pump relay or a clogged fuel filter restricting gasoline delivery. Have you checked those?

Thanks for the ideas. The stalling is random, no matter the engine temperature. The fuel filter was just changed during maintenance. Where is the fuel pump relay located, and what diagnostic steps did you take?

Okay, with it being intermittent, the relay is less likely, but still a possibility. On mine, the relay is in the rear fuse box, but I don't know about the hybrid. I'd get it professionally diagnosed with those symptoms and the fuel system concerns. It could save time and prevent damage. A proper diagnosis is important before replacing parts.

I took your advice and saw a technician. It was a loose connector on the fuel pump, like I thought. Reconnecting and securing the plug cost 95€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
