Cable damage, huh Where would you suggest I start looking for that

In my BMW i8, the cable damage was located near the high-voltage battery pack However, I would recommend against inspecting or repairing any high-voltage components yourself Given the potential danger, seek professional assistance from a qualified technician

Thanks for the advice Turns out, you were spot on I took it to a mechanic, and they found cable damage caused by rodents They replaced the damaged section, and everything is back to normal now It cost me 290€, but at least the car is running again

This sounds similar to an issue I experienced with my previous BMW i8 The high-voltage system is sensitive to minor electrical faults Have you considered cable damage Rodents are often attracted to the soy-based insulation in modern automotive wiring
