AMG GT Lighting System Fault

My 2021 Mercedes AMG GT with a gasoline engine is having a lighting system fault at 196261 km. The lights switch on randomly, and an error is stored. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else encountered a similar electrical problem with the dimmer switch or other switch components? The projected repair cost is 95€ and I'm concerned with the tail lights acting erratically.

The issues were intermittent failures, with error messages in the diagnostic system. I have some mechanical aptitude, but electrical faults can be tricky. I went to a qualified workshop, which I suggest you do as well.
