Thanks for your input! No hissing sounds that I've noticed. I visually inspected the vacuum lines, but everything seems intact. When you say boost controller, do you mean the boost solenoid itself? Or are there other components I should be checking?

Yes, I meant the boost solenoid or any related components responsible for regulating the turbo pressure. It's likely either the solenoid itself is failing or there is indeed some obstruction preventing proper vacuum. Given that you've checked the lines, I'd advise having a professional take a look. It could save you some serious headaches!

Thank you very much for your help! I took your advice and brought the car to the shop. It was indeed the vacuum switching valve, and the final repair bill was 140€ The car is now running as new!

Hello! I had a similar issue with my Opel Insignia, though it's a totally different car. Symptoms sound spot on: engine light, power loss, and fuel consumption increase. Did you notice any unusual noises, like a hissing sound, especially under acceleration? Also, have you checked for any obvious leaks or damage to the vacuum lines connected to the intake manifold or bypass valve? It might be related to the boost controller too.
