Arkana central locking problem
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Renault Arkana is experiencing a central locking problem where the doors won't lock or unlock, and an error message is stored in the system. The issue affects both the central locking and keyless entry, suggesting a more complex problem than a simple fuse. It is likely due to a bad connection, such as a faulty cable or plug in the locking mechanism circuit. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle checked by a workshop to diagnose and repair the defective component.

The car alarm seems to be working, yes, but the keyless entry is also dead. Where exactly should I check the door lock connections? I'm not very experienced with this.

Ok, keyless entry also not working points away from a simple fuse. The error code plus both failing makes me think it might be a bad connection, like a cable or plug somewhere in the locking mechanism circuit. Honestly, with that kind of issue, it's best to get it checked by a workshop. I heard that the repair can be around 95€.

Thanks for the info! I will take it to a workshop as you suggested. They checked the error memory and told me that a cable or plug connection of the component is defective. I'll let you know how it goes!

Hmm, that's odd. Does the car alarm still work? And what about keyless entry, if you have it? Could be a fuse, but since there's an error code, maybe something more complex. Have you checked all the door lock connections?
