Arkana Coolant Level Low
Summary of the thread
The 2021 Renault Arkana hybrid is experiencing consistently low coolant levels, triggering the check engine light. Despite checking the coolant reservoir and radiator cap, no obvious issues were found. The problem was suspected to be a defective sensor, but further inspection revealed a defective plug connection, which was confirmed and repaired at a workshop.

Thanks, I haven't noticed any engine overheating. I visually inspected the radiator hoses, but perhaps not thoroughly enough. Where exactly on the hoses should I focus?

On my Megane, the cracks were near the hose clamps. But honestly, given it's a hybrid, and you're getting an error code, it might be more complex than a simple hose. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop before it causes a bigger problem.

Understood, thanks. I took it to a workshop, and you were correct. It was a defective plug connection, as indicated by the error memory. The repair cost 95€.

That's frustrating. My old Megane had a similar problem. I kept topping up the radiator fluid, but the light would always come back. Did you inspect the radiator hoses themselves? Sometimes they develop small cracks that are hard to spot, especially when the engine is cold. Is the engine overheating at all?
