Arkana ECU Recalibration
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Renault Arkana Hybrid with 107,058 km was experiencing software issues, including general electrical malfunctions and a non-functional navigation system. The suspected cause was implausible programming of the ECU (Engine Control Unit). The suggested solution was to recalibrate the ECU, which ultimately resolved the issue after a visit to the workshop.

Yes, I meant the ECU. Unfortunately I do not have the error code at hand. Does that sound like a recalibration would help? Or is the ECU faulty?

Hard to say without the specific error code, but if the programming is indeed implausible as you suspect, recalibration might fix it. However, if the ECU itself is damaged, recalibration won't do anything. Given the electrical malfunctions too, and that you don't have the error code, I'd advise taking it to a workshop to get a proper diagnostic check. Better safe than sorry with these complex systems.

Thanks for the advice. Going to the workshop resolved the issue. They recalibrated the control unit. Cost me 240€.

Sounds frustrating. By 'control unit', are you referring to the ECU (Engine Control Unit)? These cars are so reliant on software these days. If it's the ECU, that basically manages the engine's performance. What kind of error codes are you seeing? That might help narrow down the problem.
