Arkana Fault Code Detected

I'm pulling my hair out here! I've got a 2021 Renault Arkana hybrid, and at 72017 km, it's throwing a fit. I keep getting a generic 'Fault Code Detected' message plastered across the infotainment screen, and the speedometer. The error is also stored in the error memory! I cleared the codes with a cheap OBD-II scanner, but it came right back. Any ideas before I start tearing apart control modules?

I had a similar issue with my Arkana. Seems like the car's computer is acting up. Did the error come after any work on the car?

Good to know I'm not alone! No recent work done at all. It just popped up out of nowhere. Any specifics on what was wrong with yours? Was it something I can fix myself, or am I looking at a trip to the shop?

Mine was indeed the coding of the vehicle, it was incorrect and caused the error. Unfortunately, it required specialized diagnostic equipment to reprogram the ECU (Engine Control Unit). I'd recommend taking it to a workshop.

Thanks for the heads-up! Sounds like I'm beat. Booked it in at the workshop, and you were spot on – incorrect coding. They reset everything, and the error is gone! Cost me 360€, but at least it's sorted. Appreciate the help!
