Arkana fuel level sensor fault

I've got a 2020 Renault Arkana with a gasoline engine that's giving me fits. I'm at 212588 km and the check engine light keeps popping on. The engine occasionally stalls at idle, which is super annoying. I scanned it and it's throwing a fuel level sensor fault. Anyone else run into this? I've checked for obvious things like loose connections, but no luck so far. Could it be a simple fuse issue, or am I looking at something more complicated?

Could be a few things. Have you noticed any weirdness with the fuel gauge itself? Is it reading empty when you know you have fuel, or vice versa?

Good question! The fuel gauge seems to be acting normally, which is what's throwing me off. Could a faulty sensor cause stalling even if the gauge is correct?

Sensors can do weird things. A faulty signal could mess with the engine management system even if the gauge looks okay. Better take it to a workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice! You were right, it was indeed the sensor. It turned out to be a defective fuse that provides power to the sensor which in turn gave a false signal. Cost me 52€ to replace. Annoying, but glad it's sorted.
