Arkana hybrid engine issues
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Renault Arkana Hybrid is experiencing engine issues, including a check engine light, rough running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration. These symptoms could be related to a fuel pump or fuel injector problem. Another Arkana owner suggests that a defective fuel pressure sensor or its connections might be the cause, based on similar past experiences. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle inspected by a workshop to diagnose and address the potential faulty sensor or connections.

I haven't specifically noticed misfires, but it's possible. Where was the fuel pressure sensor located, and how did you resolve it? Was it hard to diagnose?

My issue was a faulty connection – a defective cable or plug to the fuel pressure sensor. Diagnosis wasn't straightforward, but my local workshop found it quickly. I'd recommend taking your Arkana in; the repair cost me around 95€. It will save you time and frustration.

Thanks for the advice. I'll schedule an appointment with my workshop to have the fuel pressure sensor and its connections checked. Hopefully, this fixes it. Thanks again for your help.

I also drive an Arkana. Your symptoms sound like an issue I had. Check engine light, rough running, and stalling are dead giveaways. Any misfires? It could be a defective fuel pressure sensor.
