Arkana Hybrid Injection System Issue

I own a 2023 Renault Arkana Hybrid with 106649 km. Recently, I've observed higher fuel consumption, reduced engine power, and the engine stalls at idle. Additionally, I've noticed some smoke when accelerating. I suspect a faulty injection system. Could a defective cable or plug connection be the cause?

I also drive an Arkana Hybrid. Your symptoms sound familiar. Has the engine management light illuminated? I experienced a similar issue regarding air and power; have you checked for any leaks in the system? It might be a simple maintenance fix.

Thank you for your response. The engine management light is on. Regarding leaks, I visually inspected the engine bay but found nothing obvious. Where exactly should I be looking, or is it best left to professionals at this point?

Given that the engine management light is on and you've observed smoke, I would advise against further self-diagnosis. The injection system is quite sensitive. My issue ultimately required a workshop visit. It could save you money in the long run.

Understood. Thank you for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and indeed, it was a defective plug connection within the injection system, as initially suspected. The repair cost 95€.
