Thanks for the quick reply! No, I haven't had the battery tested recently. I just assumed overvoltage meant something was putting too much power into the system, not too little. So a weak battery could actually trigger overvoltage errors?

Yeah, it's counterintuitive, I know! But a failing battery can cause the ECU to freak out and throw all sorts of weird codes. The charging system might be overcompensating trying to charge a bad battery. I'd definitely get the battery checked, but honestly, with that many electrical issues, it's probably best to get it to a workshop with the right diagnostic tools.

Okay, that makes sense. I'll get the battery tested ASAP, but you're right, probably best to have a pro look at it. Thanks for the advice! It turns out it was the battery, just like you said. Got it replaced for 290€ and the car's running perfectly again!

Sounds familiar! I had similar overvoltage problems with my old BMW 3 series, although it was a diesel. Loads of errors popping up and the car acting strangely. It might be worth checking the battery's condition and the charging system. Have you had the battery tested recently?
