Arkana incorrect temperature display
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Renault Arkana Hybrid owner reported issues with incorrect temperature display, a check engine light, and slow engine warm-up. Suspecting a cooling grille restriction, they found no visible blockage. Another owner suggested checking the fuse related to the radiator grille flaps. Upon taking the car to a workshop, it was confirmed that a defective fuse for the active grille was the cause, which was replaced to resolve the issue.

A fuse, you say? I didn't even know there was one for the grille flaps. Where would I find that, and is it easy to check?

Yeah, some models have a fuse specifically for that. Honestly, I wouldn't even bother looking for it yourself. Just take it to a workshop; they'll diagnose it in five minutes. Trust me, it's worth the peace of mind. It could be some other sensor or actuator issue too.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. It was a defective fuse for the active grille. Cost me 52€ to replace. Appreciate the help!

ARKANA

Sounds familiar! I have an Arkana as well, though I won't bore you with the year, and I had similar symptoms last winter. The engine temp gauge was all over the place, and the car felt sluggish. Did you check if there's a fuse related to the radiator grille flaps?
