Arkana mixture preparation error

My 2019 Renault Arkana with a gasoline engine is throwing a 'mixture preparation error.' Anyone seen this before? I'm getting seriously reduced engine power, the check engine light is mocking me, the engine runs rough, and it's jerking like crazy when I try to accelerate. It sometimes just stalls at idle! Could it be the fuel injection? Or is the air-fuel ratio totally out of whack? I'm at 105280 km... Intake manifold issue, maybe? Throttle body?

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my Arkana. Reduced power and the check engine light were the first signs. Have you checked the injectors?

Injectors, huh? That's what I was afraid of. What exactly happened with yours? Was it a total failure, or just a gradual decline in performance?

For me, it was a defective injector. After a diagnosis, it was found to be faulty and caused the problems. I recommend getting it checked at a workshop to be sure.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a shop, and you were spot on – it was a defective injector! Repair cost me 515€, but at least the Arkana is running smoothly again. Appreciate the help!
