Arkana oil pressure warning
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Renault Arkana hybrid is experiencing a flashing oil pressure warning light and loud mechanical noise from the engine. Despite the oil level being normal and no visible leaks, the issue could be due to a clogged oil filter or a more serious problem. A similar case revealed a defective oil pump as the cause, suggesting that immediate inspection by a workshop is necessary. The faulty oil pump was confirmed and is being replaced to resolve the issue.

No, I haven't done an oil change recently. The last one was about 6 months ago. What was the problem with your Arkana, and how did you fix it?

Turns out, the oil pump was defective. The symptoms were very similar to what you're describing. Given the loud noises, I'd recommend getting it checked by a workshop ASAP. It ended up costing me 755€ to repair.

Thanks for the info! I took it to the workshop, and you were right – it was a faulty oil pump. They're replacing it now. Hopefully, this will solve the problem.

ARKANA

I had a similar issue with my Arkana. The oil pressure gauge was going crazy. Did you recently do an oil change? Sometimes, a bad oil filter can cause low oil pressure. Although, in my case, it wasn't that simple.
