Arkana Oxygen Sensor Fault

I'm having trouble with the oxygen sensor in my 2019 Renault Arkana, gasoline engine. The check engine light is on, there's a fault in the error memory, and fuel consumption is up. The car has 180209 km. I'm thinking it could be a bad cable or plug connection. Any ideas?

I had something similar on my Arkana. Is it throwing a specific code? Usually, that means it's the heater element in the sensor. It needs to be hot to function properly.

Thanks. I haven't checked the code yet. Should I test the sensor itself, or focus on the wiring and connections first?

In my case, testing didn't really show much. The connections looked fine too. I'd just bring it in to a workshop. It ended up being the sensor itself. Not too expensive, I think it was around 100€ including installation.

Thanks. A workshop visit seems best. I'll post what happens. The mechanic confirmed it was a faulty oxygen sensor. The final bill was 95€.
